• Nautical Handwoven Wallhanging

This piece was created for Origins show that took place in Melbourne in late July. It was a part of nautical inspired trio of wallhangings. It's made using techniques of macrame, crochet and weaving.

Main fiber used here is cotton rope that makes up for 80% of the piece, while the rest is linen. The flax/linen fiber was sourced in Latvia while the rope comes from Poland.

This piece modern look will suit most houses.

I am tiredlessly searching for vintage and specialty yarns that I can use to create one of a kind pieces like this one.

It measures ca 60cm in width and 80cm in length.

    Handmade in Melbourne, Australia.
